New school dedication ceremonies scheduled

Two educators, an engineer, a governor, and a U.S. Supreme Court Justice will be honored as the namesakes for Northside ISD's five newest schools.

Bobbye Behlau, Dr. Pat Henderson, and Jim Martin elementary schools, Dolph Briscoe Middle School, and William J. Brennan High School will host dedication ceremonies which will not only honor the life of their namesake, but showcase their student talent. All dedication ceremonies begin at 6:30 p.m. The dates are:
  • Oct. 6, Henderson Elementary School, 14605 Kallison Bend
  • Oct. 13, Martin Elementary School, 730 Canterbury Dr.
  • Oct. 20, Behlau Elementary School, 2355 Camp Light Way
  • Nov. 3, Briscoe Middle School, 4265 Lone Star Parkway
  • Nov. 10, Brennan High School, 2400 Cottonwood Way

In addition, Construction Careers Academy at Warren High School, 9411 Military Dr. W., will hold an Open House of its new facilities on Thursday, Oct. 28 at 6:30 p.m.
