NeffBots 7 Finish Strong at the Regional Texas Alamo FLL Championship

Our NeffBots 7 competed in the Regional Texas Alamo FLL Championship Tournament on Saturday, March 1st in downtown San Antonio at the Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center.  From 130 registered teams in Texas only 50 qualified for Saturday's competition. At the end of the day, our team finished 16th on the missions competition with 181 points, and they bring home the “Inspiration” trophy from Core Values competition.  With that, our team is one of the only ten teams to receive a trophy and placed as one of the three teams that won a “Core Values” trophy in the State of Texas. In addition, Pat Neff Middle School, along with Ott Elementary were the only schools from Northside ISD to participate in the finals.

Every member that competed during saturday's event received a medal for “Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology”.  They wore their medals very proudly this past Monday.  We would like to congratulate the NeffBots 7 and their sponsors on a job well done!
