Roadrunner News

I sure hope that your school year is going great!  Our routines are established, we are into the "school rhythm" and everyone is giving 110% to the children we serve.  I sincerely hope that you, too are experiencing the same success!  I have really enjoyed visiting classrooms and watching the fantastic teaching and learning that is happening at our school!  Safety is always a priority at our campus.  You may have noticed the trees trimmed and brush pick up behind our school and chicken wire placed underneath the portables.  We have ordered signage that will be placed along the fence line that states no trespassing, change our 4 foot fence to a 6 foot fence and side fences to replace our pole gates at the bus loop and cafeteria side.  I am excited to announce Officer Blevins that is assigned to our campus to patrol for safety, attend campus functions, get to know our campus, etc...  In addition, we are working with our PTA to implement our PACK program! The holidays are upon us and soon we will be celebrating Thanksgiving and stop to give thanks for the things that give our lives meaning and purpose.  I am thankful for the families, children and staff members at Monroe May.   Sincerely, Mrs. Bonnett
