Langley Administration

Greetings! My name is Leticia C. Ramirez and I am your principal at Langley Elementary. I am very excited about being the principal of a successful and family-friendly campus that at one time I called home.

I opened Langley Elementary in August of 2009 as the special education campus coordinator and special education teacher. At the end of the my first year at Langley, I was promoted to Galm Elementary as the Vice Principal and have been there 4 years. When I was promotoed, I was very excited to be back at Langley.  Prior to Langley I worked at Cable, Fisher, and Esparza Elementary schools. My educational background consists of a Bachelor's and Master's degree from Our Lady of the Lake University and a Master's in Education Administration from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas.

I am married and have three children. My children, Chloe is 21, Jakob is 17 and Ella Grace just celebrated her 1st birthday in September.  Ella Grace keeps all us very busy and we love it!!!!  In my free time (which is rare), I enjoy reading good books and still enjoy the challenge of Candy Crush.

My passion is to be on the forefront of your child's journey to success. I believe it is my job to support all stakeholders and to ensure all students have the chance to grow and be lifelong learners.

Hello! I am Aydee Ruiz-Ufland, the proud vice-principal of Langley Elementary! I am so excited and feel priveleged to work at this wonderful campus. I have been in education for 10 years now.
I started as a third grade teacher at Langley in 2012. Previously, I worked as an Academic Counselor for Carver Academy in San Antonio, TX. Before our move to San Antonio, I was an Academic Dean for the Brownsville Independent School District.
I am originally from Brownsville, TX and am a graduate from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. I have a Master's in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas RGV.

Some things that I would like to share about me:

  • I am a mother of 2 beautiful kids (5 yr old and 3 yr old) - therefore I am extremely patient.
  • I expect all students to be respectful towards each other, to respect themselves and their teachers.
  • I love working with children!
