Lloyd M. Knowlton Elementary School
Lloyd M. Knowlton Elementary School opened its doors on June 10, 1985. The dedication ceremony was held on December 12, 1985. Knowlton's mascot is the Knight and our school colors are royal blue and silver. Knowlton's motto is "A Knowlton Knight knows what's right!"
Mr. Lloyd M. Knowlton was a prominent citizen and an outstanding community supporter. He owned Knowlton's Dairy, which was the main producer of milk in Texas for many years. In honor of Mr. Knowlton and the school's 20th anniversary, the students at Knowlton Elementary created a slide show about Mr. Knowlton. Click here to view the slide show.
