Evers’ Principal takes on challenge

This year, the “BOOK It! Program challenged school principals to “read your heart out” during National Young Readers Week.

Research shows that the single most important factor in raising a reader is reading aloud, and the only way to get better at reading is to do it.

So, Principal Erin Carlson (pictured) took the challenge and read to all 870 students on her campus.
