Clark swim team breaks long standing record

December 20, 2012

At the Texas Interscholastic Coaches Association (TISCA) Meet Finals held recently, the Clark HS Men’s 400 medley relay team shattered the previously record set in 2003 by 5.52 seconds.

They are (pictured from l-r) Joseph Jaime, Michael Macha, Tyler Covington, and Daniel Lee. Coach is Anthony Plummer.

At the beginning of the year, the team had vowed to break the nine year old record, and as the 400 medley relay is not a high school swimming event, they only had one chance to accomplish this goal. The TISCA Swimming and Diving Championship Meet is held only once a year and is the only meet that this event occurs for high school swimmers.
