Brauchle honors veterans

December 20, 2012

In honor of all service men and women, Brauchle ES held its annual Veteran’s Day celebration.

Before the ceremony, parents, grandparents, aunts, and uncles who are currently serving in the military or are retired military, gathered in the library for a special Veteran’s Day breakfast.

At the event, the Brauchle choir, led by Kim Zoeller, paid tribute by singing Patriotic songs. “Taps” was played by trumpeter Kevyn Finch, a former Brauchle ES students who now attends O’Connor HS. Students cheered each branch of the military as they stood to be recognized for their service and devotion to our country.
