Classified Jobs

Applying for specific job openings is a two-step process. First complete the application. The link to the application is found at the bottom of the Job Posting.

Second, follow the link at the end of the application to return to the Jobs page, and select the specific position for which you want to apply

These are examples of Classified/Auxiliary jobs:

Instructional Assistant, Secretarial/Clerical, Technical, LVN, Health Aides, Custodial, Food Service, Bus Driver and Bus Assistant, Police, Dispatcher, and Maintenance (Appliance, Carpentry, Electrical, Electronic, Glazing, HVAC, Painting, Plumbing, Welding, Grass and Landscaping).

These positions have requirements that vary based on job duties. The requirements may include, but are not limited to work experience, high school diploma or GED, license, certification, and/or degree. Some positions are entry level jobs that do not require education or experience.

NOTE: The No Child Left Behind Act (NCLB) requires that instructional assistants hired to work at Title I schools must have at least two years of college, or an Associates degree or higher. Other methods for meeting NCLB eligibility requirements can be found on the Northside NCLB web page.

All posted positions require that the applicant have a current (less than one year old ) application on file.
