Step Pay Schedules

These pay scales are based on years of experience and college degree level, which are tied to the Texas Teacher Pay Scale as approved by the State Legislature. These pay schedules cover four types of employee groups:

Midpoint Pay Schedules

"Midpoint" includes a series of pay grades with an established minimum, midpoint, and maximum salaries which are tied to market conditions and other job related factors. No State statutory requirement for entry compensation is required. These pay schedulescover two broad types of employee groups--Administrators and other professional staff; Classified and Auxiliary Staff.

Alternative Pay Schedules

These pay scales cover various substitute, temporary, non regular, and seasonal jobs that are not a part of the Step or Midpoint Pay Systems:
