Welcome Future Husky Athletes and Parents!
Thank you for your interest in the world's most popular sport! The coaching staff is very excited to meet you and help you be successful on the pitch. Before you enter the school year please read a short explanation of policies and procedures that will assist you in the near future.
TRY OUT PROCEDURES
All students entering soccer will be on a probationary period to determine the status of remaining in the class. After this time, the student will be asked to either remain in the soccer period or change their schedule.
Key factors include the following:
work ethic in the classroom and on the field
soccer playing ability
Incoming freshmen may register for 8th period soccer and may do so without first meeting with the head coach.
Incoming upper classmen should meet with the head coach before enrolling 8th period athletics and obtain written permission to give to a counselor in order to be entered into class.
Please Note: All students must have a completed physical before joining the class. Students without physicals will change their schedules and obtain written permission from the head coach to enter 8th period athletics.
Athletic Packet Forms
Please remember that all athletes must submit the required athletic packet forms the first week of school in order to participate in girls' athletics.
All money generated though fundraising will go to equipment and after/pre-game meals. Each athlete is expected to assist with fundraisers as they will benefit from these resources throughout the year.
Work outs begin the second day of school. All students should come ready to play by bringing a t-shirt, shorts, shin guards, cleats, and running shoes. Lockers will be assigned and combination locks are available if needed.
After school practices begin Monday, December 1st (always the first Monday following Thanksgiving) and will continue every school day until the season ends. Practices will be from 4:00-6:00 pm.
