The 2014 iGniTe Grant is now open
Applications open to GT Teachers Only
Funding amount $500
Deadline by 4:30pm on Thursday, March 27, 2014.
The Northside Independent School District’s (NISD) Gifted/Talented & Enrichment Advisory Council (GTEAC) iGniTe Fund was established to provide NISD Gifted and Talented (GT) teachers with supplemental funding above and beyond the provisions of the regular district budget for resources, supplies, and other items. This supplemental funding must enhance the NISD Gifted and Talented Advanced Learning Program for High Achievers (ALPHA) Program.
The iGniTe grant program was established to support unique and innovative educational projects that impact NISD’s gifted and talented students and teachers. Only currently employed NISD ALPHA Program teachers may apply for iGniTe grant funds. Applicants may only submit one iGniTe grant per campus each school year.
Grant requests may not exceed $500 per campus. ALPHA Program teachers split between two campuses may submit two separate grant applications. Awards may be funded for amounts less than the grant request.
