The Stallion Stampede Walk-a-thon will be held during school on Friday, May 9th. Help support the walk-a-thon by sending in your donations by Wednesday, May 7th.
NJHS Induction Ceremony for new candidates will be held, in Folks Cafeteria at 7:00pm. Inductees need to be in place by 6:45pm. Refreshments served after ceremony.
Please join the staff and students for Folks MS 1st annual Tech Expo on Tuesday, April 29th. Students and teachers will demonstrate how technology is being used in every department and transforming your child's education! The Expo will begin immediately after the public Bond 2014 presentation in the cafteria at 6 pm.
The Folks MS Choir will be participating, along with many other Northside middle schools, in a tribute to Michael Jackson. The perfomance will be Saturday, May 3rd at Paul Taylor Field House. (download flyer)
7th graders who scored extremely high on last year's STAAR test were invited to take the SAT or ACT. These students did outstanding and were State or Grand Recognized. Congratulations!

National PTA requests feedback from families at two points in the school year – the beginning and end. Your feedback in the beginning of the program helped generate a customized Roadmap to Excellence, which provided specific recommendations for improving our family-school partnership.
