In Class 4A, the Brennan High School Bear Band repeated as the first place champion in the Parade of Bands Competition. Their directors include Roxanne Vickers, David Giddens, and Laura Poling.

In Class 5A, the John Jay High School Mustang Band was awarded first place in the Parade of Bands Competition AND was awarded the “People’s Choice” Award for the most entertaining, most creative, and most enjoyable of shows during the Parade of Bands Competition.  Jay band directors include Frank Lozano, Alex Yanez, and Charles Eckert.

The O’Connor High School Panther Band was one of three local bands performing as feature bands during the night’s festivities.  Directors are Roland Sandoval,  George Garza, and Wesley Perkins.
