That's Entertainment - Ram Style!

“That’s Entertainment” … a fitting title for a fine arts showcase held every other year at John Marshall High School.  The event raises funds to support their campus musical held the following year.

The event is a great display of collaboration among art, music, theatre, and dance.  As one enters the auditorium, the halls are lined with fabulous art pieces from the elementary and middle schools that feed into Marshall High School.  The stage show is 1 hour and 10 minutes of non-stop slap stick theatrical comedy, quality music performances, instrumental showcase groups, fantastic music arrangements by the campus staff, outstanding dance pieces, and a band flag winter guard presentation.

To bring completeness to the show, the fine arts faculty suits up in hillbilly attire, guitars, banjos, fiddles, a “spoon,” and some real hootin’ and hollerin’ in a great instrumental and vocal rendition that brings the house down.

The show is complete with an all-inclusive cast of performers coming out on stage for the finale number.  If you want to challenge your students, tech crew, and musicians in developing their skills in production rather than in concert presentation, be encouraged to contact the fine arts instructors at Marshall High School.

Hat’s off to the Marshall Rams for this great show!!!
