A Letter from the GTEAC President :
The Northside Independent School District (NISD) Gifted and Talented/Enrichment Advisory Council is a resource available to all of us to make a difference. What we do here contributes to the future of our children, our community, and our nation. This Advisory Council is a venue where the voices of parents, students, district staff, and community members can be heard, and acted upon if necessary. We on the Council need to 1) bring our voices and speak up; 2) listen, internalize, and identify the needs that exist; and 3) take action where we can to make a difference. Your actions and the actions of this Council make a difference and assist NISD in helping all children. It is a privilege to serve as this year's President. I am a parent just like many of you, and as parents we want to ensure that our children's needs are met and they have the opportunity to grow to be the best that they can be. I want to thank you, and recognize you for volunteering here, for speaking up, for listening to others, and for taking action to make a difference for the future of our children, our community, and our nation.
Paul B. Langer ,
President of the GT & Enrichment Advisory Council
