Message from the Principal
With the first weeks of school in our rearview mirror, I am pleased to share that we are off to a banner start at Connally this year! From Coyote Camp and Prep-Days to the start of classes and the opening of our Athletic seasons, the collective positivity displayed by our students, parents, and Educators has been impressive. In fact I believe that P.A.C.E. (Positive Attitudes Change
Everything) is the reason that we have enjoyed such a successful start at Connally this fall, and I am faithful that P.A.C.E. will net us our best school year ever, despite the challenges of reduced funding and the state assessment transition from TAKS to STAAR. Another powerful positive contributor to the Connally culture is our school’s implementation of “The No Complaining Rule.” This strategy (inspired by Jon Gordon’s book of the same name) encourages both students and adults to look at the positive side of life, and when there is a problem, to go about solving it in a constructive manner. The reception to this life changing concept has been very positive, and the stage is set for perpetual pleasantness within our school community; because at Connally, we all are committed to showing our C.L.A.S.S. (Coyotes Living Awesome Social Skills)!
