Immunization Information for the 2013-2014 School Year

8th Grade Panoramic Picture
Eighth grade students will have the opportunity to purchase a copy of the Panoramic Picture and share in the memory of their 8th grade class on Monday, May 13th. 

PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
As you likely know the STAAR Season has already begun with our seventh and 8th grade tackling the writing and math portions of the state exam.

I am pleased, proud, and encouraged to share that as the testing days approach, I have observed our students in a more serious, focused, and positive state of mind each day, and I have no doubt that we will once again "Set The P.A.C.E." for academic excellence in NISD!

As we move forward in our march toward "STAAR Victory", I am asking for your support as parents! Plese have frequent encouraging discussions with your children about the importance of scholarship and academic success, because there is nothing more powerful than your uplifting words during these challenging days of assessment! Also, please remind them daily of the Connally mantra: "Every Item...Every Test...Every Challenge...Every Day: Failure is not an option!" Remember, the "nudge" you give our students will make a huge difference in their attitudes towards testing, and we all know that POSITIVIE ATTITUDES CHANGE EVERYTHING!
