The next Parent Support Group meeting will be on Tuesday, November
17, 2009 at 7:00 pm in the CAHS Lecture Hall. Ms. Malik will be our guest
speaker presenting the CAHS Mentorship program.
Tuesday, December
1, 2009 from
4:30 pm until 7:00 pm PSG there will be a fundraising event at the
Alamo Ranch Jamba Juice. This will be the
CAHS "Holly Jolly Jamba Juice" Spirit Night. The CAHS students/family
members will tell the cashier that they are with ComArts and a copy of
their receipt will be kept at the register. CAHS will receive 20% of
the sales.

Volunteering is a great way to … give back to the community, boost
your college resume, and most importantly, see how it takes so little
to make a big difference in the life of another. Here’s an easy
way to get information and sign up! You and your teen can meet with
representatives from more than 30 non-profit organizations who are looking
for teen volunteers.

Open Positions
Every
year, “graduating parents” that
are officers or chair committees leave vacancies
in the Parents Support Group. Please consider
these positions either by speaking to an officer/chair or to be nominated
by a member. There may be
some other positions available on a following update but at this particular
time the duties of these open positions are as follows:
DUTIES:
President-elect: Be in training overall
for the president position the following school year. Take membership
duties with assistance and
guidance. No prior experience is necessary.
