Increased number of positive stories in the media, showcase students and staff achievments, help communicate with the large target audiences about challenges facing the District as well as achievements, and strong and credible relationship with members of the media.

3. Counseling and Consulting
Develop and maintain strong relationhips with students, staff, parents, and the community; provide high-level, strategic counsel to the School Board, Superintendent, and Cabinet; assist some to improve personal performance in the areas of communication and public relations.

4. Research and Development
Identify views and values and design effective communications programs and activities.

5. Marketing
Increased pride in Northside ISD and schools and build an understanding that public education is a benefit to the community.

Employees understand their role of serving as Northside ambassadors to the community.

Empower employees and citizens to take ownership in their schools and Northside ISD and foster collaborative relationships.

8. Crisis Communication Management
Encourages fair objective coverage by the news media and lessens the negative impact of the community.
