Each semester students who achieve acaddmic excellence by maintaining a 90 or better in each class are recognized as distinguished scholars. It is the Academy's version of the Dean's List. This honor is awarded to only an elite few. To view this semester's distinguished scholars CLICK HERE!

Monday Jun 13, 2016 marks the beginning of the first CCA Credit Acceleration Camp. Students participating in the camp will need to be dropped off and picked up at the Warren HS campus. Classes will meet each day, until Thursday Jun 16th in the A Bldg, 3rd Floor Labs. Beginning on Friday Jun 17th the camp will be moved over to the CCA Bldg, 2nd Floor Labs and remain in the CCA building for the rest of the summer. Students will then be picked up at the CCA campus. Classes will start promptly at 8am and end at 1pm, Monday thru Friday.

On Monday Jun 6, 2016 CCA graduated its 4th senior class and Warren's 13th. Congratulations to the senior class of 2016.

The CCA Parade of Homes was one of the Academy's most spectacular events. The event was a culmination of all that the seniors learned and accomplished during their tenure. The seniors built five “jaw dropping” homes. The tiny homes were a compact 152 square feet of living space. The homes were showcased at the event on May 21st, 2016. Over 3,100 people were in attendance.

CCA students in the Geometry in Construction class use geometry concepts to design and construct a balsa wood model of a building. Students used construction concepts learned in class to construct the balsa wood model. Students applied geometry concepts to real world build concepts.

CCA engineering students showcase some of their handy work at the NISD 2016 Tech Expo. Students showcased a battery powered bike, a student built drone, a student built hover craft, a laser, and other engineering projects. The student designed projects served as an example of the many engineering challenges students faced throughout the year.

CCA host it's second annual job fair. Construction companies throughout the region engaged students in employment discussions. Students met with potential employers. The fair provided students with a real-world opportunity to speak with employers about job opportunities within their company.
