Carson Celebrates Veteran's Day

Everyone gathered in the gym today to celebrate Veteran's Day. It was a spectacular assembly. Senior Master Sergeant Gerry Medrano was our guest speaker.  He is a Carson parent.  His son, Edward, is a student in Mrs. Hollis’ 4th grade class.  He is in the Air Force and has been proudly serving for 21 years. Carson student, Maisie Cahill read her winning essay on "What is Freedom". The Carson Choir treated us to performances of The Star Spangled Banner, They Dared to Dream, and God Bless America. Mr. James Carson, our school's namesake, and our favorite veteran was on hand for the proceedings.
