Tony Pelletier, the NISD 2008 Pillar of Responsibility, was the keynote speaker at Carnahan’s annual Red Ribbon/Character Counts Rally. Mr. Pelletier is a product of Northside public schools and attributes much of his success to his public school education. He attended Lackland City Elementary, Sam Rayburn MS, and John Jay HS. He attended Texas A & M University and he currently serves as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Alamo Resources, LLC.
Mr. Pelletier spoke to Carnahan students about responsibility and having good character. An important point he made was that good character is making the right choice even when no one is around to see. Mr. Pelletier also talked about the importance of working hard in school so you can achieve your dreams. He is living proof that hard work, responsibility, and determination are what leads to success!
