A.C.O.R.N. Project

Carnahan's 3rd grade planted trees between Mission Conception and the San Antonio River during their studies of the restored wetland habitat underway near the Missions. The student studies came alive during March of 2013, in the first collaboration with the San Antonio River Authority with school children to plant native trees from Carnahan's Project A.C.O.R.N. (Alamo-area Children Organized to Replant Natives) in this historic site.
