Carlos Coon Elememtary will be hosting a college/career night, Thursday, May 22 from 6:30-8 p.m. Representatives from the Armed Forces and local colleges and universities will be in attendance to answer questions. There will also be a performance by the CC Warriors as well as displays of students' dreamboards, pennants, college T-shirts, and other goal setting projects created in class.

Carlos Coon will be hosting Kinder Roundup on Wednesday, April 16th from 5-6:30 p.m. The roundup will give next year's kindergarten students and their parents an opportunity to pre-register their child for kindergarten, meet teachers, tour classrooms, and ask questions.

Carlos Coon Elementary will be hosting a Career Day on Friday, March 7th from 8-10:45 a.m. Students will attend three to four different presentations from various community members to learn about different career fields.

We are excited to announce that Carlos Coon Elementary School will be holding its Annual Science Fair on Thursday evening, February 27, 2014 from 6:00-7:00pm. On display will be projects submitted by each classroom grades Kinder through Fifth. Please come and see what wonderful things are happening in the classroom. The community is encouraged to join us in celebrating the children's accomplishments and to promote the importance of science education.
