Cable Solar Cars Teams Take 1st Place and 3rd Place in NISD Solar Cars Event!!!

There were four Cable Solar Car teams that competed against over 200 other cars in the NISD Solar Cars Race event held on Saturday May 4. Two of the four cars made it into the semi-finals and eventually came in 1st Place Grand Champion and 3rd Place in the Final Race!! It was an amazing event and Cable is so proud of these students that competed. 1st Place car was “Cable Fast & Furious” solar car and 3rd Place was “Cable Cannon Cubs” solar car.
Bike Rodeo - A Great Success!

Special thanks to​ Coach Swint and Coach Velasquez for planning and organizing the Bike Rodeo and all the Specialist and Rotation Specialist for helping and contributing to the success of this awesome event!  What a fun day for our Cubs.  
STAAR Attendance

We had 98% attendance for our 5th and 4th graders for STAAR!  I commend the teachers and staff for motivating our students and instilling in them the belief that they can accomplish excellence when they put forth their focus and effort.  Having our students present for our testing dates sends a clear message that we take pride in what we do and expect excellence in ourselves and our school.  We are the BEST!
